JF Hose opens large bore hose division
JF Hose have opened its large bore hose division at its Leyland factory specialising in production of hand-built rubber hoses for dredging, dockside oil and heavy industrial applications in sizes 2" to 40" diameter and lengths up to 12 metres. The factory has on-site rubber compounding, calendering and laboratory facilities ensuring quality and consistency. New Range of Hosetail suitable for external swaging or banding
The UK has seen a rise in the number of companys wanting to swage rubber hoses and go away from wiring and clamping in fittings etc.
JF has produced hose tails for many years and have been a firm believer in supplying good quality tails made from Sch40 pipe where some of our competiters have been using thin wall pipe. We now have a stock range of tails from 1/2" upto 6" in carbon steel and stainless steel.
JF Hose wins Middle East deal worth £350,000

A lancashire company is celebrating landing a £350,000 deal to sell hoses to the Middle East.
JF Hose & Couplings Limited have won the deal to supply 160 hoses to an oil firm in Dubai which they will use to transfer oil off giant tankers onto the shore. Jason Foxcroft managing director of JF Hose, in Bamber Bridge, said the deal could even lead to orders for three times as much as the current deal. Mr Foxcoft said: "This is probably one of the biggest single orders for this product you can get in the World and we are hoping that it will lead to even more work. This contract will keep us very busy and then we are hoping there will be further orders afterwards which obviously keeps us busy until later in the year. The work we do is very specialised."
The managing director said the firm he founded in 1999 had "gone from strength to strength" since the takeover of rival firm Petroflex, enabling an increase in manufacturing production and technology.
